Children in Distress is a small charity and its mission "Is to offer love and care to children living with HIV AIDS or other incurable or terminal illness”. CiD believes that no child should be left frightened and alone, in pain, in the dark, dirty, abandoned and abused. No child should have to die without medication to ease their pain, without someone to comfort them and a hand to hold.
Since 1990 the volunteers and staff of Children in Distress have been bringing love and care to the suffering, abandoned and forgotten children of Eastern Europe, irrespective of their race, religion or creed.
In recent years we have provided Children in Distress with gifts in kind to the value of over £10,000.
