The Magic Million Appeal's purpose was to raise £1,000,000 for a new Intensive Care Unit at Yorkhill, Scotland's biggest children's hospital. The hospital desperately needed a new Intensive Care Unit as the original one was busy, cramped and bursting at the seams, yet every day its staff performed miracles. The new ICU  provides more space, more staff and hi-tech equipment to help save the lives of critically ill children, from babies to teenagers.

In 2004 our staff adopted the Yorkhill Magic Million Appeal as their charity, raising over £1300 by various means, including a sponsored walk, dress down day and other in-house events.
