Fresh Herbal Tinctures
It was Alfred Vogel who pioneered the use of fresh herb extracts in
Phytotherapy. In his early days as a Naturopath, Vogel found that
patients treated with herbal preparations made from fresh plant
material responded faster and better.

Those were the days before fast transport systems and Vogel found that the best way to secure a source of fresh herbs was to grow them himself. This he did at his clinic at Teufen, Switzerland, where he developed his practice into the most successful in Switzerland.

Research
Logic would support Alfred Vogel’s intuition. Fresh food has far higher nutritive value than food which has been ‘preserved’ by drying, or some other modern-day processing method and recent research, carried out in Bioforce laboratories in Switzerland has confirmed Vogel’s instinctive belief in fresh herbal preparations.

Using state of the art chromatographic tests, the scientists at Bioforce have confirmed that herbal preparations prepared from freshly harvested organic plants not only contain more of the active constituents present in the plant, but are also more stable during storage.

These tests have secured our commitment to fresh plant extracts as being the best way of bringing the power of each plant to you.
