Digestion

Keeping healthy in winter often feels too much of an effort. We feel tired and sluggish. We try to brighten the days with the wrong types of diet, expecting our bodies to cope and promising to mend our ways in the New Year. But a bad diet and limited exercise can affect the immune system, increasing the chances of falling foul of winter viruses.  Simple things like fresh air, a short walk, vegetable soups and fruit puddings can help and of course herbs, such as Yarrow and Centaurium.

Ginkgo
Ginkgo biloba has been used medicinally for thousands of years. In the 1960s the leaves were used in tests on circulation, with excellent results – good news for people who suffer from cold hands and feet, or poor memory or concentration.

Nature-C
Few people eat the five portions of fresh fruit and vegetables daily that are recommended. Vitamin C is essential for health and natural sources are the best absorbed. Nature-C is made from acerola, passion fruit, sea buckthorn, blackcurrant and lemon.

10 Golden Rules for Good Health
Ten Golden Rules for Good Health provides practical advice on how to develop good health through diet, exercise and environmental awareness. The book is designed to help readers maximise the benefits of a healthy lifestyle by combining a routine of healthy eating and exercise with an understanding of the environment and the hidden health hazards caused by pollution.
