A Fresh Herb Story
Why do we insist on using freshly harvested herbs in our remedies? The answer is quite simple – it is because we believe that the method of fresh herb extraction, pioneered by our founder Alfred Vogel, produces better remedies.
As Alfred Vogel found decades ago, many factors influence the quality of the herbal product you use. This is why we still choose to use freshly harvested plants when making our herbal remedies. Indeed, our research shows that the fresh Echinacea extract used in Echinaforce contains almost 3 times more active substances
than can be obtained from the same amount of dried herbs*. Also, in
using our herbs fresh from harvesting, we avoid the need to dry,
fumigate and store plant material.
