 Organic Cultivation Most
of the herbs used to produce A.Vogel fresh herb tinctures and tablets
are grown using a strict organic protocol in and around Switzerland.
Seeds
are collected each autumn to create new stock of spring seedlings. In
Spring, these are planted out by hand in our organic fields where the
climate is ideal for cultivating strong healthy plants.
Sustainable
farming methods are used to nurture the plants that flower in our
fields each summer. They are a clear testimony to the farming methods
Alfred Vogel always used – principles we follow to this day, ensuring
both the health of the plants and protection of nature. We stand firmly
against the exploitation and depletion of wild plants in nature.
Herbs
are gently harvested - cut with care, usually starting at sunrise as
this is the time when they contain the highest levels of active
substances.
