Infrequent or missing periods are very common during peri-menopase and they can often last a number of years before your periods finally stop.
Over that time you can experience a number of other symptoms such as flushes, fatigue, joint pain, anxiety etc.
I would suggest a good female multi-vitamin supplement with extra magnesium: magnesium is really important during the menopause as it is needed for mood, relaxation and sleep. You can also try our Menopause Support tablets which also contains magnesium, as well as soy isoflavones, which are known to help gently balance your hormones, thus easing many menopause symptoms.
However; low iron, low thyroid and low vitamin D can all appear at this age and can cause fatigue and anxiety so it is a good idea to ask your doctor to test for these just to rule them out.
