background

I have been having hot flushes for nearly 3 years now. I have tried all sorts of remedies - Black Cohosh, Primrose Evening Oil, Serenity Cream - and they seem to work for a little while but then they stop working. Someone suggested sage and I bought some but sadly I could not take them because they were in capsule form and contain gelatine. I am a vegetarian and I will not take gelatine. I have also put on a lot of weight in the last 2 years and I cannot seem to lose it. Do you have any advice for me?

You won’t get the menopause the minute you turn 50! The average starting age is actually between 45 and 55 and it can often depend on a number of factors including hereditary, weight and health, however every single woman will have an individual menopause.
