Those periods of pain during inactivity are classic signs of wear and tear and I'd assume its getting moving again that provides some relief.
For daily results, please consider applying our Atrogel® morning, noon and night but I would also think about a combination of glucosamine (£7 for 90) and Atrosan® Devils Claw for an 8-12 week period in order to restore some quality to the cushioning within the knee and reducing the inflammation which is damaging in itself.
