background

I was diagnosed 12 years ago with chronic pain syndrome. When I changed doctors I had what seemed like a heart attack, but all was fine apart from very high blood pressure. My new doctor however thinks the pain I have is most likely fibromyalgia as I have almost all the symptoms i.e. sleep problems, depression, bowel problems and severe debilitating pain. I can do very little for myself and at 54 hope to recover one day. Is this possible? And will I work again?
