There are a number of things that you can do for your anxiety.
Firstly, if it is ongoing then it is important to get it checked by your doctor. Other health issues such as low thyroid, low iron, or low vitamin D can cause anxiety so getting checked for these just to rule them out is a good idea.
You could also try remedies such as AvenaCalm, and if you feel that your mood is low and you are not on any other prescribed medication, you could try Hypericum.
You can also learn therapies such as NLP or EFT, and these will give you control over your feelings. Just Google for more information on these.
Check your diet too. Certain foods can trigger the nervous system making anxiety worse so try to avoid, caffeine, alcohol, processed foods and high salt and sugar foods.
