Hyperiforce St. John’s wort tablets is a traditional herbal medicinal product used to relieve the symptoms of slightly low mood and mild anxiety, exclusively based upon long-standing use as a traditional remedy. Always read the leaflet. How long will it take for Hyperiforce to make me feel better? You should feel a benefit within 6 weeks of starting Hyperiforce. If you do not feel any benefit or your symptoms worsen, then it is best if you consult your doctor. What is the daily dose? Adults and elderly: one tablet three times daily. This product is not suitable for children under 18 years of age. Can I take Hyperiforce with my sleeping tablets? Please consult the information leaflet in the Hyperiforce box to confirm that your medication is not on the list of prescribed medications that are contraindicated with Hyperiforce. Can I take Hyperiforce if I am on the Pill? No, Hyperiforce may potentially interfere with the action of the Pill and other hormone-based contraceptives, such as Depo-Provera. How long can I take Hyperiforce for? Hyperiforce can be taken for as long as you feel it to be necessary, provided that you stick to the recommended dose and talk to your doctor if you feel your symptoms are not improving or are worsening. Will I notice any side effects from taking Hyperiforce? Like all medicines, this product can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Although minor digestive symptoms or skin reactions are occasionally experienced (in less than 1 in every 1,000 people) these usually resolve after a short period of time. Skin reactions are more likely if you take more than the recommended dose, and you are advised to stop taking Hyperiforce if this happens. Please read the leaflet for full details. What does 'based on long-standing use as a traditional remedy' mean? Many herbs have been used for a long period of years to relieve certain conditions. This 'traditional use' can now be reflected on the packaging of products that have achieved registration under the Traditional Herbal Medicines Directive. Each claim derives from the documented long term medicinal use of the herb as shown in respected reference sources such as pharmacopoeias, publications by experts in herbal medicine, and EU member state approved lists of herbs and their uses, rather than being based on the results of clinical trials.
