A perfect balanced brunch
The perfect brunch, as recommended by a nutritionist ??? ?
We have the perfect balance of protein, healthy fats, complex carbs, probiotics, colour, and a variety of plant-based ingredients. And it took about 10 minutes to stick on a plate and. I had me some lovely, minimal-ingredient, sourdough toast on the side too.
The elements are as follows:
Turmeric & black pepper eggs, fried in some EVOO.
Spiced roast cauliflower – cauliflower, EVOO, smoked paprika, cumin seeds, cayenne, sumac, coriander & Herbamare Spicy Herb Sea Salt.
Avocado with chilli flakes and coriander (lime is lovely too!).
Organic kimchi.
Now for the geeky nutritionist point - guess how many plants we’ve racked up here? Never mind 30 in a week, this is over 30 on one plate, including all the whole ingredient herbs and veggies in the seasonings I’ve used – in one meal guys.
The drink by the way, it’s beetroot juice, ridiculously nutritious, and the best one I’ve tried. Biotta is the brand of choice for beetroot juice!
