Did you know?
Peanut butter is a great food to fuel up on before a 5K or 10K because of its low GI, high carbohydrate and high protein content.
What to eat before a 5K or 10KIf you are new to exercising, start out with an activity that you can easily incorporate into your daily routine. This could be something as simple as carrying your shopping home from your local store instead of driving, or helping a neighbour/friend out by arranging to walk their dog every so often.
After this, begin to incorporate some more formal exercises into your routine such as an exercise class or a weekly cycle. These are just suggestions, though, and will by no means suit everyone - don't be afraid to try a few different activities until you get one that suits. It could be that you return to something you've done in the past, or take up an entirely new hobby.
We also have our Get Active blog here at A.Vogel where you will find loads of exercise tips, so have a read of this for more information - I am sure you will be exercising regularly before you know it!
