Can cystitis and thrush be linked?
If you suffer from both recurring thrush and cystitis, or find that when you develop one, the other follows soon after, you’ll know how frustrating it can be.
Find out what the link isHi Jenny,
We have a blog on which foods to eat and those to avoid if you suffer from cystitis which I hope you'll find useful:
Drinking water daily is really important so definitely keep this habit up; I always recommend at least 1.5l daily.
Our remedy Uva-ursi may help at the time of a flare up in your symptoms and Cranberry, Golden Rod Tea and female probiotics may be useful to help support the urinary tract in the longer term.
Although we don't sell the female probiotics, our friends over at Jan de Vries do or these should be available in local health food stores too.
I hope this helps,
Best wishes,
Emma

Learn more about CystitisCystitis is sometimes known as ‘honeymoon cystitis’. Why? Well, during sex, bacteria can spread from the perineum to the urethral opening. The risk of developing cystitis is therefore increased depending on the frequency you have intercourse (sorry honeymooners!).
