Is it true that zinc is important when you have an enlarged prostate? My husband has been diagnosed but is not on medication so it’s not too severe.

Yes, there is a lot of positive research out there to suggest that zinc is good for the prostate. Some foods high in zinc include wheat germ, beef, pumpkin seeds, cashew nuts and eggs so these are definitely ones to get more of.

If you husband has not been put on medication, it suggests his symptoms are quite mild and so it is really worthwhile looking at diet as a means of managing the condition.
