This is an interesting question and the answer is yes.
The reason for this is that as sinuses become blocked, pressure builds up within the cavity causing pain in and around the sinus.
Sometimes, however, this pain can be felt in other parts of the body – such as the back of your jaw or teeth which can be mistaken for toothache.
The phenomenon is known as ‘referred pain’ and should resolve as soon as the sinus problem improves.
