Hi Sue The tablets contain magnesium and vervain both of which are known to help with anxiety. You could also add in a vitamin B Complex which can help to support your nervous system.

Hi Helen Nausea is a common symptom in the menopause and can be caused by several factors. Fluctuating oestrogen levels can be a trigger (a bit like morning sickness in pregnancy!) but falling oestrogen levels can also affect the digestion, leading to a stressed liver, which in turn can cause nausea. You may find taking Milk Thistle Complex helpful, as this is traditionally used to support the liver, and you could add in a soya isoflavone supplement such as Menopause Support. This is used to help gently raise and balance oestrogen levels, thus reducing symptoms. Nausea can be caused by other factors, however, such as low blood sugar or dehydration; so do make sure that you are eating a good diet, with healthy snacks between meals, and drink plenty of plain water as well as your other drinks. Acupuncture may be effective for severe nausea so worth checking out. Maybe ask your doctor if there is a practitioner attached to the local NHS and if so if you could get referred. Have you had any accident/injury to your upper back/shoulders or neck at any time? Problems with this are could affect the Vegus Nerve to the stomach causing nausea and if so it may be a good idea to see a Cranial Osteopath.
