Joint and muscle aches and pains are quite common in the menopause and some women do feel under par. However, I would suggest that you see your doctor - they can do a simple test to see where your hormone levels are and that will give you a better idea of what is happening. Also ask for an iron and thyroid test, as low iron levels and low thyroid function often appear at this stage and both can cause fatigue, muscle aches and low mood.
