How severe are the hot flushes, I've had 2 in the last 24 hrs, but it’s not the whole body temperature that changes, it’s just my head, which feels like it could explode.

There are many types of hot flushes and some women do get them like this.

However, if the discomfort gets worse it is best to check with your doctor.
