Rashes can be caused by a number of things, including; medication, stress, food, dehydration, constipation etc.
It is best to do as the doctor suggested and hopefully they will find the cause.
In the meantime, you may find that drinking a couple of cups of nettle tea may help, and also make sure that you are drinking plenty of plain water every day as dehydration can make symptoms worse.
