You are considered through the menopause and safe from pregnancy after not having had any periods for 2 years. Before that point it is still advisable to use some form of contraception.
However, pregnancy would be difficult to identify as you would have no loss of periods as a tell-tale sign, and other commons signs of pregnancy such as nausea, breast tenderness and bloating are common menopause symptoms too!
If you suspect that you are pregnant you would need to do the usual pregnancy test.
