Although I am not aware of a direct cause for loss of appetite the menopause can put tremendous strain on the body generally.
Any kind of stress, be it physical or emotional can cause loss of appetite in some people so this may be the reason.
However, it may be an idea to look at what other symptoms you may be experiencing as well to see if there are any other contributory factors.
