Fatigue and loss of concentration are very common symptoms which often go hand in hand. They are often caused by falling/fluctuating oestrogen so it is possible this is the cause. Other menopause symptoms such as poor sleep and stress can also affect your concentration and energy levels.
You may find taking a phyto-oestrogen, such as our Menopause Support, helpful. This is traditionally used to help gently raise and balance oestrogen. It also contains magnesium, which helps reduce tiredness and fatigue.
However, your symptoms could be caused by other factors such as low iron, low thyroid or low vitamin D so it is important to get this checked out by your doctor as well.
Check your diet too and make sure that you are getting plenty of 'energy' foods such as nuts and seeds, dried fruits, fresh foods and try to avoid those that stress the nervous system such as coffee, processed foods and high salt and sugar foods.
Dehydration can also cause mental fogginess so make sure that you are drinking plenty of plain water every day.
