I am 51 years old and I am sure that I am menopausal. My moods are very erratic and sometimes I don't feel in control of what I'm saying - I will just come out with things without filtering them. I can't tell if this is just me or the menopause. Can you help?
So many women find this during the menopause!
Some women find that they are saying things completely out of character, or daring to say things in a way that they never would have previously.
It's not that it's 'just you' - it's a combination of you and the menopause - the menopause is having an effect on you, but you are there underneath it all!
It's often interesting to look at just what you are saying and doing and asking whether these are things that you have maybe felt during your life but never usually had the courage to say or do?
Sometimes the menopause can be very liberating this way. If you feel that you are unduly irritable or angry then you can take a magnesium supplement (try Salus Haus liquid magnesium) to help calm things down.
