Sensible exercise in the menopause is vital but it is important not to over do it.
The menopause puts tremendous strain on the body generally and if you push yourself too hard the body can go into 'survival mode' and the metabolism can slow down and fatigue is often a result.
Your nutritional needs also go sky high in the menopause and if you exercise too much this will deplete your reserves even more pushing the body further into survival mode so it can become a vicious circle!
