It's quite common for periods to start coming more often during the run up to the menopause.
This is OK, so long as you are not bleeding heavily - otherwise you will end up getting anaemic (low in iron - makes you tired and drained).
If you are bleeding heavily every 2 weeks then you could consider taking Agnus castus to help reduce the frequency of your periods.
If this doesn't work then you will need to talk to your doctor about some progesterone-based medication to slow down your cycle.
