Breast pain and weight gain are both common menopause symptoms.
You may find a kelp supplement and Milk Thistle Complex helpful for the breast pain, but if the symptoms continue it is a good idea to get it checked out by your doctor as well.
Remember to drink plenty of water as dehydration can make symptoms worse. The fact that your symptoms get worse with certain foods may indicate a sluggish liver which is why I suggested the Milk Thistle Complex.
Weight gain, at this time, is often caused by a problem metabolising carbs which can be brought on by changing hormone levels.
I would suggest trying to reduce your intake of carbohydrates and increase your intake of protein, vegetables and healthy fats. Have a read up on 'The Low GL Diet' or 'The Paleo Diet' for more information on this.
Regular exercise is really important at this time too. Even a brisk walk every day would be beneficial, not only for your weight but also for your circulation.
