In the menopause your temperature control can become very unstable and reactive to very small temperature changes. If the weather gets even a little hot, your body thinks that it is seriously overheating so will trigger flushes to help keep you cool.
Flushes/sweats can dehydrate you very quickly and dehydration can affect the nervous system resulting in more flushes!
So be sure to drink lots of plain water at this time as dehydration from more flushes plus the hot weather can also make other symptoms worse too!
You can also try the herb Sage which helps to regulate temperature and ease flushing. I recommend our Menoforce Sage tablets, which you take once a day to help relieve menopausal hot flushes, as well as excessive sweating including night sweats.
