I began my menopause two years ago, aged 44. I am still having periods but they are not like they used to be. They are not at regular intervals. I take femoston. My main symptoms have ceased but I feel very achey. I just wondered just how long it will be until this whole process stops. Will I ever return to my normal self?

Most women will take about two years to go through the menopause, and usually symptoms do calm down. Sometimes symptoms can linger though, and this can be due to diet, lifestyle, stress etc.
