Has anyone noticed that coffee is not your friend in perimenopause? I'm finding sometimes that my one lovely cup of coffee a day is still having an afterlife, even three hours later. And sometimes it makes me feel quite rattled. I'll get a little bit of palpitations or I'll be a little bit shaky before lunch.
So, when my hormones are fluctuating and my nervous system is already overwhelmed, coffee sometimes isn't really working.
I'm going to try switching it out for a bit. Maybe try a little bit of (A.Vogel's) Bambu or another little coffee substitute, or maybe some herbal teas like chamomile or lemon balm.

“It has a lovely mild taste which is similar to a mild coffee great if you are cutting back on caffeine”
I am also going to try and reduce my coffee portion and have it on a full stomach to see if that helps.
