Perimenopause Story: My neck tension
Does anyone else get savage neck tension? That's one of my weak points, and neck tension was definitely one of my early signs of perimenopause.
I'm usually quite good at minding myself, but recently I've been working really hard. I've been driving, I've been hunched over the computer in the evenings, and I've been ignoring those early warning signs, which is bad and causes my neck issues to trigger again.
So I suppose I just wanted to call out that sometimes knowing the stuff isn't the same as doing the stuff. It's a call out to all of you who probably know that all these small, little sensible things are going to be really impactful, and are really going to help make your perimenopause easier.
Keeping hydrated, relaxing those shoulders, and getting a little bit of rest are all important. Don't push yourself too hard and just mind yourself.
