Just how healthy are your muscles and joints?

Find out how flexible you areFeverfew was traditionally used for joint pain as well as the more common modern use in migraines. With changes in the standing of herbal products in recent years, many traditional but slower-selling remedies have begun to disappear from the shelves, leading to changes in what practitioners recommend as they resort to products that are still available.
Feverfew can still be found but to my knowledge, no-one has applied for or been granted a license for its use in joint conditions, so it has to be sold as a food supplement rather than a medicine, for which no claims can be made on the packaging or in related literature.
It may also be that the effects of Feverfew have been found over the years to be inferior to other herbs for joint pain, leaving it only recommended for what it does best, relieve migraines.
You might get some joy if you visit a medical herbalist as they have some dispensation to operate outside of these rules that apply only to herbs bought 'over the counter'.
If you have no success, Devil's Claw, such as our Atrosan®, is already licensed for joint pain and so safe for the future.
Best wishes
Earle
