Just how healthy are your muscles and joints?
Answer our questions and find out if your flexibility is compromised.
Find out how flexible you areMuscle twitching can be caused by a variety of factors, including dehydration, nutrient deficiency, stress, high caffeine intake and poor sleep. Therefore, it is worth looking at whether one of these could be behind your symptoms, and then you can begin to address the issue. Aim to drink 2 litres of water a day, for example, and up your magnesium intake – this is found in foods including spinach, nuts, seeds and bananas.
If you would like more information on this issue, have a look at my blog '8 reasons your muscles are twitching'.
If the problem persists, and it occurs in more than one place, I would advise speaking to your doctor.
