Just how healthy are your muscles and joints?
Answer our questions and find out if your flexibility is compromised.
Find out how flexible you areFirst of all, if you have had the pain for more than a few weeks I would recommend consulting your doctor who may can take a closer look at your injury and offer appropriate treatments. If you have already seen a doctor, or it is only a recent injury, my advice is as follows:
- Wrap some ice in a cloth and apply that to the area several times a day.
- You could apply some Arnica Gel to the area to help with the inflammation and pain caused by your injury. This is quite quick to show its effects.
- Try to keep using the arm as normal to avoid stiffness and to aid the healing process. However, try not to reach high with your arm, at least initially, and certainly don't do any high impact sports or anything like that.
- You could consult a physiotherapist to get more guidance on appropriate activities to help with the healing. Lots of clinics are offering online sessions at the moment.
