Just how healthy are your muscles and joints?

Find out how flexible you areJoint pain that gets worse in winter can often be attributed to the weather as we generally feel pain more during cold temperatures. Also, during winter we are perhaps less likely to get out about (again, largely due to the weather) which can cause joints to stiffen and become more painful.
If you are struggling with this issue, I would recommend some gentle exercise - walking or swimming are some good options that don't put too much pressure on the joints. It's also a good idea to layer up when you're out so that the cold weather has less of an impact on your joints.
If you would like some more information on managing joint pain during winter, I would recommend reading my blog '6 ways to prevent cold weather from aggravating your muscle and joint pain'.
