As you approach the menopause your oestrogen levels start to drop which can give rise to a whole number of symptoms. The mirena coil is actually supporting oestrogen's opposing hormone if you like, progesterone, which in many cases can exacerbate the low oestrogen symptoms that you are already experiencing.
It might be worth discussing this with your doctor to decide if this is the best method for you at this time in your life. Supporting your oestrogen instead with our Menopause Support product which contains fermented soy isoflavones may be more worthwhile, however, this wouldn't be suitable whilst you are still on the pill.
Kind regards,
Emma
