The first and foremost beverage I would recommend to support your skin would be a nice tall glass of plain water. Good old-fashioned H20 is extremely important for healthy skin and can actually help your body to flush out toxins and other nasty impurities. Ideally, you should be aiming for between 1.5-2 litres of plain water a day!
Okay, so once you’ve got your water intake mastered, you could try introducing a few different herbal teas. Green tea is a good option here as its rich in free-radical fighting antioxidants, or you could try a mug of warming, spicy ginger tea which has naturally anti-inflammatory properties and can help to support your digestion.
In general, I would experiment and find what works best for you. Moderation is key – the odd cup of coffee or glass of wine isn’t going to age your skin dramatically but if you’re drinking these types of caffeinated, sugary or alcoholic drinks on a daily basis then it could start to have an impact.
