Does the alcohol in Dormeasan get removed when a little boiling water is added? I use an ethical to hold 30 drops then add boiling water (a small amount) there is still a clear residue around the preparation - would this be water or remains of alcohol.

Normally when using boiling water it is enough to evaporate the alcohol within a couple of minutes.

Any residue that is found would normally be water or plant based.
