background

I will be 53 years old in November. I am still having periods, though they are very light. However, I feel really low, paranoid and tearful. I also question my self-worth and my life in general. I don't like myself when I'm like this as I take things to heart that I would normally laugh off. Can you please give me some advice?

You won’t get the menopause the minute you turn 50! The average starting age is actually between 45 and 55 and it can often depend on a number of factors including hereditary, weight and health, however every single woman will have an individual menopause.
