I have had a cold sore come up 4 times in the last 6 months. When it comes up all my glands become swollen and painful, especially in my neck, but I also get a blotchy rash on my lower jaw on the side of the cold sore. How can I try and stop this? It has only started to happen this year. Is there anything to help it stay dormant as it makes me very run down?
