I took Plantago for a few days when I had the flu, but my chest is still really bad. I'm going back to GP today to get it checked. I'm not sure if Plantago is helping, I'd like to think so, but stopped a few days ago as not sure what to do. Is it useful for chest infections etc?

Plantago is traditionally used as an ear, nose and throat herb and is normally recommended for sinus, earache, sore throats, mucus, inflammation of the mucus membranes etc. For upper respiratory chest infections Echinacea would be more appropriate, but you can take both together if you wish.
