I have the cold and my question is why don't I feel hungry?

All your energy is needed for fighting the bug and any unnecessary diversions are discouraged. Heavy digesting work isn’t helpful at this time, so appetite tends to fail.

Don’t worry: it will re-emerge once you’re on the mend. Focus on fruit juices, stewed fruit, vegetable soup, and similar simple, warming foods.

Drink plenty of water – this is the most important step to keep you from drying out. Plenty of warm drink, such as warm cordials, herbal teas and Echinaforce® Hot Drink is also recommended to keep you hydrated and help relieve many symptoms of the cold.

Once you are on the mend, if your appetite doesn’t improve then try taking bitter herbs such as Centaurium, which will quickly bring a depleted appetite back on track.
