I'm 48 nearly 49. Two years ago I experienced a burning sensation on my breasts nipple area. I had a mammogram and all was fine. I've now started having aching breasts. Is this a symptom of the menopause? I don't tend to wear a bra to bed only knickers. Is that ok?
Breast pain/discomfort is very common in the menopause and usually caused by lowering oestrogen levels.
You may find a kelp supplement helpful for this along with a cup or two of nettle tea a day.
Make sure too that you are drinking plenty of water as dehydration can make symptoms worse.
It is best to get any breast changes checked by your doctor as well.
