I have had hissing and ringing in my ears for a while now. I am 52 and I suppose I am in the menopause. I also get headaches with it - does the menopause cause this symptom?

The menopause can cause headaches, which are often due to falling levels of oestrogen. You may find a fermented soya isoflavone supplement and some magnesium can help this. You could also try Ginkgo biloba, as this is traditionally used for tinnitus (unexplained noises in the ears).
