I am going through the menopause just now. I keep waking during the night for no aparent reason. I am not sure if this is just another symptom of the menopuase but need some sleep. How can I get a good nights sleep?

This can indeed be a symptom of the menopause, especially if you are overheating at night. Ensure that your bedroom is cool rather than warm, and drink plenty of water during the day to keep you hydrated through the night.

Don't eat a heavy meal in the evening, and allow several hours between eating dinner and going to bed.

Observe the sleep hygiene tips, and try Dormeasan® Valerian and Hops.

If you find that your menopause symptoms persist then contact Eileen via the Menopause Extra page, as she has a great deal of good advice in these situations.
