background

Back pain, groin pain, bloating, general pain around pelvic area, night sweats and feelings of sadness, which can be gone as soon as they come. My July period was 2 weeks late. I then had a massive period in August, which was also 2 weeks late. Then nothing since. Night sweats and flushing stopped now. Is this typical of menopause?

You won’t get the menopause the minute you turn 50! The average starting age is actually between 45 and 55 and it can often depend on a number of factors including hereditary, weight and health, however every single woman will have an individual menopause.
