Can one have upper back pain due to acid reflux?

Yes, it's called referred pain.

The body doesn't normally receive distress signals from the organs so it fires out pain signals to a nearby area with more nerve endings, such as the muscles in your upper back.

Please have a look at our Centaurium. It can be taken with any antacid medication you may be taking and is excellent for helping keep acid within the stomach where it is meant to be, digesting food. Antacids switch it all off.

Best wishes
