Sorry to hear of your fall. Unfortunately it sounds as if you did a good job, spraining ligaments and straining muscles at the same time.
Pain can move as tissues heal at different rates but I'd recommend you apply some Arnica Gel at least twice a day for the next week or so and you should find the symptoms eased somewhat.
Try some Arnica tablets too as many people experience a speeding in healing time.
