I am 54 years old next month and I am having all of the regular symptoms of the menopause, plus some that are not mentioned. I have had a blood test and the doctor has said that my ovaries are 'struggling.' I am still having periods, the longest time in between them is 4 months, but other times I will have 3 in 2 months, lasting up to 9 days. I am now getting very down as I am not sleeping properly. I wake up having weird feelings that last about 5 minutes and then they subside. I have arthritis in my spine, known as spondylitis, and I am in a lot of pain with that too. Can you help me?
